Business Development Executive for Davao (Interior Fixtures and Finishes)

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Plan, schedule, conduct and evaluate all business development activities within an assigned area in order to introduce and promote the products through distributors to builders, plumbers, contractors and other end users in accordance with established company objectives
Establish and maintain regular contact with distributors in assigned area to introduce and promote the products in accordance with company, branch, marketing goals and policies
Provide guidance and review the activities of distributor’s sales team; provide training and assist in resolving specific questions or problems relating to selling efforts or technical issue
Establish and maintain contact with potential and existing interior designers, architects, hotel operators and developers to create awareness of the plumbing products
Establish and maintain regular contact with builders, plumbers and engineers to inform them of the advantages of using the products for their customers
Analyze and evaluate assigned area regarding market trends/potentials, competition, economic/business conditions and distributor’s performance as well as recommend changes in programs and distributorships to make area operation more effective
Conduct distributors’ warehouse and on-site consumer inspections as required, attend to distributors and customers’ complaints regarding product quality, installation or performance issues
Ensure smooth handover of approved or specified projects to distributors, and closely monitor on-time delivery of the products within distributors and customers as well as the completion of signed contracts
QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor’s degree in any business or marketing related course is preferred
At least 5 to 7 years sales experience in building materials, household fixtures or other related products, with extensive background in retail sales type business
