Personnel Manager

Job Summary: The Personnel Manager is responsible for developing and implementing policies, overseeing the recruitment process, and training employees. This role ensures the effective management of human resources to meet organizational goals and promotes a positive work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Policy Development:

    • Develop, implement, and maintain HR policies and procedures.
    • Ensure compliance with legal standards and organizational guidelines.
    • Regularly review and update policies to reflect changes in legislation and company needs.
  2. Training and Development:

    • Design and deliver training programs for employees at all levels.
    • Identify training needs through job analysis, performance reviews, and consultation with managers.
    • Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and make necessary adjustments.
  3. Recruitment and Onboarding:

    • Oversee the recruitment process, including job postings, screening, interviewing, and selection.
    • Develop and implement effective onboarding programs to integrate new employees smoothly into the organization.
    • Collaborate with department heads to forecast staffing needs and develop recruitment strategies.
  4. Employee Relations:

    • Act as a point of contact for employee concerns and grievances.
    • Foster a positive work environment through effective communication and conflict resolution.
    • Implement employee engagement initiatives to enhance job satisfaction and retention.
  5. Performance Management:

    • Develop and administer performance appraisal systems.
    • Work with managers to set performance goals and provide feedback to employees.
    • Identify areas for improvement and facilitate professional development opportunities.
  6. Compliance and Reporting:

    • Ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations.
    • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records.
    • Prepare and present reports on HR metrics and activities to senior management.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in HR management or a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of HR policies, labor laws, and best practices.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Human Resources or a related field.
  • HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR).
  • Experience in [Technology and Security Solutions Industry].

Working Conditions:

  • Full onsite (Monday-Thursday (8:00am - 6:30pm) and every Friday (8:00am - 5:00pm)
