Project Manager - MEPF

Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Project Manager with expertise in MEPF (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, and Fire Protection) systems to oversee and manage company's construction projects. The Project Manager will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing projects from conception to completion, ensuring that they are completed on time, within budget, and in accordance with the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Planning & Coordination:
  • Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, budgets, resource allocation, and risk management strategies.
  • Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of MEPF systems into the overall project design.
  • Prepare and present project proposals, cost estimates, and progress reports to clients and upper management.

Team Management:

  • Lead and manage project teams, including subcontractors and on-site personnel, ensuring all members are aligned with project goals and timelines.
  • Facilitate regular team meetings to discuss project progress, address issues, and adjust plans as necessary.
  • Monitor team performance and provide guidance and support to ensure high standards of workmanship and safety.

Budget & Resource Management:

  • Manage project budgets, tracking expenses and ensuring that costs are controlled without compromising quality.
  • Negotiate contracts with suppliers, subcontractors, and other vendors to secure favorable terms and maintain project profitability.
  • Ensure timely procurement and delivery of materials, equipment, and services.

Quality Assurance & Compliance:

  • Oversee the installation and commissioning of MEPF systems, ensuring compliance with local regulations, codes, and industry standards.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to ensure that work is progressing according to plans and specifications.
  • Address and resolve any technical issues or discrepancies that arise during construction.

Client & Stakeholder Communication:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing their concerns and keeping them informed of project status.
  • Maintain strong relationships with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and satisfaction.
  • Prepare and deliver project documentation, including progress reports, change orders, and final project closeout documents.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
  • years of experience in project management within the construction industry, with a focus on MEPF systems.
  • Strong knowledge of construction processes, building codes, and safety regulations.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work under tight deadlines.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, AutoCAD, BIM).
  • PMP or similar certification is preferred.
