Manage all the Supply Chain activities including both production and supply strategy execution, and ensure all are aligned with Local/Regional/Global strategies for sustainable and profitable growth
Develop and regular review the Supply Chain strategies based on Target Market to Sales requirements and responsible for the execution of the defined strategic measures from an aligned efforts Marketing, Operations, Sales, Finance, and Procurement
Support data integrity requirements and maintenance for Supply Chain processes
Steer, manage, and optimize inventories
Monitor and manage Supply Chain performance and stakeholders through aligned Key Performance Indicators (KPI), Best Practices benchmark, and Service Levels
Support to enhance or exceed defined and agreed KPIs (e.g., Forecast Accuracy, on-time in Full, and Supply Chain related cost efficiencies) in close coordination and strengthened collaboration with Marketing, Target Market, and/or Sales management team including Operations and Finance Team
Support to enhance Inventory and Logistics cost efficiencies
Manage Planned Purchases from Material Planning Requisitions generated by ERP System (e.g., AX, SAP) prior the creation of Purchase Orders derived from historical trend, actual sales, production loading, capacity, inventory, and back/open orders for all locally produced products
Provide sense checks of the generated Master Production Schedule provided by the Production planner for the month prior submitting to the Plant Manager and/or Head of Operations for approval as this information will also be cascaded to the concerned departments (e.g., Marketing, Sales, Customer Service) which includes the calculating and measures from the collated forecast from Target Market and/or Sales vs. actual production
Collaborate with Production Planner, Demand Planner from Target Market, and Procurement for conducting Sales, Inventory, and Operations Planning (SIOP) meetings to be held once a month, including to initiate preventive action to balance limited available stock according to priorities as well as monitoring and reporting Forecast Accuracy
Monitor, maintain, and manage inventory situation per Target Market and/or Sales requirements and initiate corresponding actions for outliers or misaligned targets
Manage inventory levels that are aligned with the defined provisions from Finance team in terms of amount thresholds and prevention of aging days, wherein the goal of the business is to improve Network Capital monthly
The responsibility covers all stocked items for local production e.g., Raw and Packaging materials as well as Products that are bought as finished goods e.g., Intercompany and/or Traded goods be it local or imported, which also includes the monitoring and reporting of all shipments to secure agreed timing with Target Market and/or Sales to ensure timely product availability
Drive continuous improvements for all Supply Chain processes and technologies and provide know-how and expertise to daily requirement towards operations and process efficiencies
QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering or other related courses
With at least 15 years experience in Supply Chain management in the manufacturing sector, preferably within a multinational company
At least 5 years experience in a leadership role in Supply Chain
Supply chain experience in construction or building materials business is a big plus
Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
