Job Description:
	- Lead and coordinate field-based biodiversity monitoring and conservation initiatives in compliance with Verra’s VCS & CCB standards
 
	- Oversee monitoring activities, reporting systems, and ensure scientific integrity
 
	- Manage and mentor field staff; build capacity of junior staff and Indigenous communities
 
	- Supervise long-term ecological studies, community-based conservation, and species monitoring
 
Qualifications:
	- Bachelor’s/Master’s in Biology, Environmental Science, Forestry, or related field
 
	- 5–10 years in biodiversity research, conservation projects, and ecological monitoring
 
	- Experience with avian and mammal species, threatened species, and challenging field conditions
 
	- Knowledgeable in Wildlife biology (avian behavior, breeding, habitat usage), Biodiversity monitoring methods (e.g., surveys, camera trapping, ecological data analysis)
 
	- Community engagement, ethnobiological surveys, Indigenous People collaboration
 
	- Training and capacity-building for staff and local communities
