Job Description:

• Support field-based biodiversity monitoring and conservation aligned with Verra’s VCS & CCB standards
• Manage and capacitate at least two staff; report directly to the Biodiversity Department Head
• Conduct and supervise biodiversity surveys (avian research, camera traps, distance sampling, point counts)
• Collate, analyze, and report biodiversity data to ensure scientific integrity
• Assist in training field staff and supporting community-based initiatives

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s in Biology, Forestry, or related field
• 1–3 years of experience in biodiversity research, field surveys, or conservation projects
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
• Familiarity with biodiversity data analysis, statistical & visualization tools (e.g., RStudio)
• Ability to work independently and in multidisciplinary, multicultural teams
• Commitment to conservation, climate action, and Indigenous/local community rights
• Advantage: Knowledge of local Mindanao languages
