Processing Engineer Section Manager

Job description:

The Process Engineering Section Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing all process engineering activities to ensure efficient, safe, and cost-effective production operations. This role focuses on process optimization, continuous improvement, and technical support to achieve production targets, quality standards, and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and supervise the Process Engineering team, ensuring effective task delegation, training, and performance management.
  • Develop, implement, and optimize manufacturing processes to improve productivity, efficiency, and product quality.
  • Analyze and troubleshoot production issues, identifying root causes and implementing corrective and preventive actions.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives through lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other process improvement methodologies.
  • Coordinate with Production, Quality, and Maintenance departments to ensure process stability and compliance with company standards.
  • Prepare and maintain process documentation, including SOPs, work instructions, and process flow diagrams.
  • Support the introduction of new products, materials, or equipment into production through process validation and testing.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to yield, efficiency, downtime, and cost reduction.
  • Ensure all processes comply with safety, environmental, and quality management systems (e.g., ISO standards).
  • Manage resources, budgets, and timelines for process improvement and engineering projects.

Qualifications:

  • BS Engineering Graduate
  • More than 5 years of relevant experience in a manufacturing set-up
  • Proficient in project management
  • Strong in Managerial Courage, Problem Solving / StatIstical & Analytical tool
  • Proficient in MS Excel, MS Word and MS Powerpoint
  • Good English Communication skills both oral and written
