Key Responsibilities:

• Administer and monitor network devices (routers, switches, Wi-Fi access points, firewalls).
• Manage and optimize VPN configurations and WAN performance.
• Perform firewall rule management, intrusion prevention, and patch updates (Sophos Firewall).
• Conduct network capacity planning and bandwidth utilization reports.
• Troubleshoot and resolve network outages or latency issues.
• Coordinate with ISP providers (PLDT, Converge) for service continuity.
• Implement cybersecurity best practices for endpoint and network defense

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Engineering, ECE, or related course.
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in network or security engineering.
• Strong troubleshooting skills and familiarity with VLANs, routing, VPN, and firewall policies.
• Understanding of ISO 27001-aligned security standards is an advantage.
• Certifications preferred: CCNA, Sophos Certified Engineer, CompTIA Security+.
