The System Server Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the company’s server infrastructure, ensuring high availability, security, and performance of all systems. This role leads the server and systems administration team while coordinating upgrades, monitoring system health, and implementing best practices to ensure business continuity.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise daily operations of servers, data centers, and system administrators
- Ensure uptime, performance, and security of all servers (Windows, Linux, cloud-based systems)
- Monitor system performance, backups, and disaster recovery plans
- Manage patching, updates, and system upgrades
- Investigate and resolve server-related issues and escalations
- Enforce IT security, access control, and compliance policies
- Coordinate with network, application, and cybersecurity teams
- Prepare system performance and incident reports for management
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field
- At least 3–5 years of server or systems administration experience
- At least 1–2 years in a supervisory or team lead role
- Strong knowledge of Windows Server, Linux, virtualization, and cloud platforms
- Experience with backup, recovery, and security tools
- Strong troubleshooting and leadership skills
- Willing to work onsite in Ortigas and on paid Saturdays if required
