Graduate of Industrial Engineering or any business-related course
At least 5 years of experience specializing in inventory control and warehouse management
Strong knowledge of warehouse safety and security standards
Experience using warehouse and inventory management systems/software
Background working in an ISO-certified company
Oversees receiving, warehousing, and distribution operations by establishing, coordinating, and enforcing operational, procedural, and personnel policies.
Ensures compliance with local warehousing, material handling, and shipping regulations by monitoring existing and new legislation and advising management on required actions.
Safeguards warehouse operations and inventory by implementing and monitoring security procedures and protocols.
Manages inventory accuracy through regular physical counts, reconciliation, and system validation.
Maintains warehouse facilities by planning and implementing layout improvements, inspecting equipment, and issuing work orders for repair or replacement.
Controls outbound freight costs in line with the approved budget and operational targets.
Prepares and manages the annual warehouse and logistics budget, monitors variances, and implements corrective actions to achieve financial objectives.
Plans manpower requirements by scheduling, assigning, and supervising warehouse personnel to meet operational demands.
Leads recruitment, onboarding, training, and development of warehouse and logistics staff.
Manages team performance through coaching, performance reviews, counseling, and corrective actions as needed.
Keeps professional and technical knowledge current by attending workshops, reviewing industry publications, and participating in professional networks.
Supports overall team objectives by accomplishing related tasks and initiatives as required.
