Pricing Analyst - Taguig City

Qualifications

  • Graduate of Business, Economics, Mathematics, Accounting, or Commercial Data Science-related courses

  • At least 5 years of relevant experience in business intelligence, financial reporting, or pricing/ commercial finance

  • Strong analytical skills and experience in data handling, revenue/margin analysis, and market trend evaluation

  • Knowledge of commercial aspects of business and exposure to pricing strategy and market dynamics

Key Duties and Responsibilities

Revenue Analysis & Reporting

  1. Design and generate regular sales reports, including:

    • Daily Sales Dashboard

    • Monthly Sales Report

    • Detailed Sales Variance Analysis

    • Sales & Gross Margin Analysis

    • Monthly Sales Trends

  2. Generate special purpose and project-specific reports, such as:

    • TM Concrete Sales, Volume & Margin Report

    • TM Industry Sales & Margin Report

    • Cross-Selling Reports

    • Key Project Management Reports

  3. Create ad hoc reports and data analyses as requested by Sales Group Heads, TM, Finance, and GM for business reviews, regional reporting, customer presentations, and special projects.

  4. Drive data collation and synthesis for budgeting, forecasting, and forward-looking revenue & margin projections, including:

    • Sales Bridge (Weekly & Monthly Plan, Actuals, Forecasts)

    • 12-Month Rolling Forecast

    • Annual Sales Budgeting

    • Seasonal Sales Projections

    • Special Purpose Projections (e.g., for RPA input)

  5. Perform analytical calculations to derive actionable insights on revenue and margin trends by customer, product, volume, segment, or other dimensions.

  6. Regularly coordinate with sales and marketing teams to gather insights and provide guidance on budgeting, forecasting, and reporting templates.

Pricing Generation and Maintenance

  1. Facilitate the annual pricing review (SMP/SRP) by:

    • Collating historical financial data (average prices, discounts, costs, margins, volumes)

    • Gathering inputs from sales/marketing (target prices, competitor pricing, volume projections, promotions)

    • Collaborating with costing/inventory officers for product costing, lifecycle, SLOB, and key assumptions

    • Synthesizing data into working templates to support pricing decisions

  2. Manage end-to-end pricing requests ensuring accuracy, completeness, and timeliness, coordinating with relevant departments.

  3. Generate and maintain pricing reports, including price effect, initiative progress, and price waterfall analysis.

  4. Maintain all pricing records in systems such as Microsoft AX (Trade Agreements), Salesforce Pricebook, and internal/external pricelists.

  5. Keep an updated database of competitor products and pricing to inform price positioning decisions.

  6. Provide insights and feedback to the pricing committee on pricing suggestions, issues, improvements, and competitiveness.
