Accounting Staff

Sto. Tomas, Batangas

Job Description 

  • Verify accuracy and validity of financial transactions
  • Implement internal control policies to minimize financial risks
  • Prepare periodic financial reports for management
  • Provide financial insights to support business decisions
  • Oversee accounting staff, IT, and warehouse personnel
  • Support budget preparation and monitor variances
  • Review internal and external financial reports
  • Supervise and mentor accounting staff
  • Prepare documents for audits, tax filings, and compliance reviews
  • Handle ad hoc finance-related tasks

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements (PFRS compliant)
  • Manage month-end and year-end closing
  • Monitor and reconcile inventory accounts
  • Assist in cash flow and working capital management
  • Prepare and review BIR tax returns (VAT, income tax, withholding tax, etc.)
  • Ensure compliance with BIR, SEC, LGU, BOC, PEZA, and other regulations

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy
  • CPA license (required)
  • Open to fresh graduates with strong academic background
  • Knowledge of GAAP, PFRS, and Philippine tax regulations
  • Familiarity with ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 is a plus
  • Strong analytical and leadership skills
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong communication and coordination skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
