Purchasing Assistant

San Isidro, Nueva Ecija

Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor's degree in any four-year course.
  • At least 1 year of experience in Purchasing, Procurement, or a related field.
  • Knowledge of truck spare parts is an advantage.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and Word.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Adaptable, detail-oriented, and willing to learn.
  • Trustworthy and able to work under pressure.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in sourcing and purchasing materials, supplies, and equipment.
  • Prepare purchase orders and monitor the status of orders.
  • Coordinate with suppliers regarding quotations, deliveries, and order updates.
  • Maintain accurate purchasing records and documentation.
  • Monitor inventory levels and assist in replenishing stock when needed.
  • Compare supplier prices, quality, and delivery schedules.
  • Ensure timely delivery of purchased items and resolve delivery concerns.
  • Coordinate with internal departments regarding purchasing requirements.
  • Perform other purchasing and administrative tasks as assigned.
