JOB DESCRIPTION FOR A SELENIUM EXPERT

Our client is a data research and IT software development company. They were established by a US-based Hedge Fund and have been experiencing rapid growth despite the ongoing pandemic and financial market woes. As they in the industry would put it, they thrive in volatility. Our client engages their sponsors in the fields of Financial Quantitative Research, Data Engineering, DevOps, Applications Development, Cyber Security, and High-Performance Computing.

Selenium Expert responsibilities include analyzing business requirement in order to determine the best strategy covered by automation testing, develop new test scripts, maintaining existing test scripts/regression suites, providing results to project managers/developers/manual testers etc.

The successful candidate will help build the client’s best practice process to streamline his workflow and systematize the business.

As a Selenium Expert:
• 3 Years of experience in Software Quality Assurance
• Experience with Agile Development process
• Experience with Web based testing Application
• Knowledge of Automation testing is essential

Your Responsibilities as a Selenium Expert:
• Analyzing business requirement in order to determine the test strategy covered by automation testing
• Developing new test scripts
• Maintaining existing tests scripts/regression suites
• Attending Agile meetings (Daily scrum meeting/Sprint planning/Backlog refinement) on assigned projects
• Executing regression suites
• Providing results to project managers/developers/manual testers and stakeholders
• Making changes in Configuration files to run in either test environment or production environment
• Identify scenarios which needs to automate
• Write test cases in excel sheet for module which are not added in test framework
• Write Methods for function which are not existing in a framework
• Maintain Framework (Updating object Repository & test data)
• Execute test framework & Send test execution report to project manager
